Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your access to Shiller.fun and every pin you purchase on it. By using the site, and in particular by making a payment to pin a message, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to use cryptocurrency where you live, to make a purchase.

2. The service

Shiller.fun is a public pinboard. For a flat $1, paid in SOL on Solana or ETH on Robinhood Chain, you can pin one message of up to 200 characters to the board, where it is publicly visible to everyone. Optional paid extras are available at checkout: colored paper, and "boost" distribution of your message on our official X, Telegram, or Discord channels.

3. Payments and refunds

Prices are set in US dollars and converted to SOL or ETH at the market rate at the moment you pay. Network fees charged by the blockchain are yours. Payments go directly from your wallet on-chain; we never hold your keys or custody your funds.

All payments are final. Blockchain transactions are irreversible, and the service currently has no automated refund mechanism. If something goes wrong, for example your payment confirmed but your pin never appeared, contact us on X (see section 9) with your transaction signature and we will look into it in good faith.

Prepaid API credit follows the same rule: credit is spendable only on pins, is not refundable or redeemable for cash, and is tied to the wallet that deposited it. Keep your API key safe: we store only a hash. If you lose the key, the funding wallet can sign to regenerate a new one, which immediately invalidates the old one.

4. Pins are final

Like a real corkboard, pins cannot be edited or deleted after posting. Read your message before paying. The only removals are those we perform ourselves under section 6.

5. Your content and your responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you pin. You confirm that you have the right to post your message and that it does not violate any law or the rights of any third party. By pinning a message you grant Shiller.fun a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host and display it on the board, and, if you purchased a boost, to repost it on our official social channels.

6. Content rules and moderation

The board is intentionally open: promotion, hype, memes, and self-promo of any legal kind are the point of the site. But some content is prohibited. You must not pin:

  • pornographic or sexually explicit content, or links to it;
  • any sexual content involving minors, without exception;
  • offers or solicitation of illegal goods or services, including drugs, weapons, stolen data or credit cards, and malware;
  • terrorism propaganda, or threats of violence against any person;
  • doxxing: publishing someone's private address, phone number, or identity documents to harass them;
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark, phishing links, or impersonation intended to defraud.

Pins are screened automatically and may also be reviewed manually. Shiller.fun reserves the right, at its sole discretion and without notice, to refuse to publish, remove, or restrict the visibility of any content that violates these rules or applicable law, and to refuse service to repeat violators. Payments for removed content are not refunded.

Boost distribution is conditional on passing review: if your message fails the content check, it will not be posted to our social channels even though the pin itself may remain on the board, and the boost fee is not refunded.

Social distribution is provided on a best-effort basis and is subject to each platform's own rules, technical limits, and availability. A post may be delayed, declined, or removed by the platform, and boost fees are not refunded in that case.

7. No endorsement, no financial advice

Every pin on the board is user-submitted content. Nothing pinned to the board is endorsed, verified, or recommended by Shiller.fun. Tokens, links, and projects mentioned in pins may be worthless, misleading, or outright scams. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, or legal advice. Always do your own research before interacting with anything you find on the board.

8. Service availability and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Blockchains, wallets, and price feeds are third-party systems outside our control, and we are not liable for their failures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiller.fun's total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. You agree to indemnify Shiller.fun against claims arising from content you pin or your breach of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version, and material changes will be announced on our X account. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. For how we handle your data, see the Privacy Policy.
