Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Shiller.fun ("we", "us") operates a public pinboard where anyone can pay $1 to pin a short message to the board. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit the site or pin a message, and what we do with it. The short version: we run no accounts, no trackers, and no ad tech, and we only store what is needed to run the board.
2. What we do not collect
Shiller.fun has no user accounts. We do not ask for, and do not collect, your name, email address, phone number, or any other identity information. We run no third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels, and we do not sell or rent data to anyone.
3. What we store when you pin a message
When you pay to pin a message, we store the following in our database so we can verify the payment and display the board:
- the text of your message and the options you chose (paper color, boost channels);
- the blockchain you paid on and the transaction signature of your payment;
- the public wallet address the payment came from;
- the time the pin was created.
If you create an API credit key, we additionally store a hash of that key (never the key itself), the wallet address that funded it, and its balance and top-up history.
We never receive your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet balance, and we never take custody of your funds. Wallet connections are handled by your own wallet software through WalletConnect infrastructure.
4. Blockchain data is public by design
Payments happen on public blockchains (Solana and Robinhood Chain). Your wallet address and transaction details are recorded on-chain, are visible to anyone, and cannot be altered or deleted by us or by you. That is how blockchains work; please keep it in mind before paying from a wallet you consider private.
5. Everything you pin is public
The board is public. Any message you pin is immediately visible to every visitor, can be shared and linked to, and cannot be edited or deleted by you after posting. Do not include personal information (yours or anyone else's) in a pin. If a pin exposes personal data and you want it taken down, contact us (see section 10) and we will review the request in good faith.
6. Automated content review
Before a pin is reposted to our official social channels, its text goes through an automated content review that screens for content violating our Terms of Use. Only the message text is processed for this purpose, and it is not used to identify you.
7. Boosted pins on social media
If you purchase a boost, your message is posted from our official accounts on X, Telegram, or Discord, depending on the channels you selected. Once posted there, the content is subject to those platforms' own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.
8. Hosting, logs, and local storage
The site is served by our hosting providers, which keep standard access logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and operations. Live SOL and ETH prices are fetched from public market data providers server-side; no personal data is involved. In your browser, we use local storage only for functional purposes: your light/dark theme choice and the wallet connection session managed by your wallet software. We set no advertising or analytics cookies.
9. Retention and children
Pins and their payment records are kept for as long as the board operates, unless removed under our Terms of Use or following a justified removal request. Shiller.fun involves cryptocurrency payments and is not directed at anyone under 18.
10. Questions and requests
For any privacy question, or to request removal of content that concerns you, reach us on X at @shillerdotfun. Our DMs are open.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced on our X account.
